During the night, assistance to the toilet is needed twice. A shower chair is available. Household management, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and eating meals together. Attention should be paid to medication adherence and ensuring adequate fluid intake. She requires conversation, companionship, joint walks (shops are within walking distance), adherence to a daily schedule, and assistance with daily errands. The caregiver has her own bathroom.

Care for an independently living 86-year-old lady, 70 kg, 169 cm, who moves with the help of a walker. She suffers from Parkinson's (stage 4), dementia, incontinence, diabetes (treated with medication), and general frailty. She also has macular degeneration, sees very poorly, and hears very poorly. The lady is Croatian. She can walk short distances on her own, otherwise she uses a walker. She needs assistance on stairs. She needs help getting into bed. Communication is limited, but she can express her needs. She needs help with hygiene, dressing, and toileting. She uses incontinence briefs; incontinence care must be provided. She also wears compression stockings. The job includes supervision, companionship, and household help. Cleaning is provided by a cleaner (once a week), and laundry is handled by the daughter. Groceries are accessible on foot. Night work is required as needed, approximately once per night, mainly for assistance with toileting and incontinence. Lifting is not required. For outdoor mobility, she uses a special Parkinson's walker. This is a moderately demanding caregiving role focused on supervision, assistance with basic activities, incontinence care, and companionship. A caregiver fluent in Croatian is welcome.
