Short-term memory is impaired, locally the lady is still oriented and recognizes the persons in her surroundings. She suffers from arthrosis of one knee. She moves independently, no lifting or night care is needed, she sleeps well through the night. The main goal of care is to maintain independence through guidance and reminding. The lady needs accompaniment when moving around outside the home and at doctor's appointments. She requires supervision, guidance and verbal direction when dressing and personal hygiene. The caregiver's work includes domestic help such as cooking, cleaning and laundry care. Companionship, support in daily routines and active pastimes are important, as she enjoys playing board games and solving puzzles.
