However, she does not go out anymore. She is not incontinent.The main health problem is significant arthrosis, especially in the hands and fingers, which limits fine motor skills and causes the need for assistance with some activities of daily living. She needs only partial assistance with dressing, for example with fastening buttons or putting on outerwear. He can manage personal hygiene, eating and toileting independently. She takes her own medication. The main part of her work as a caregiver is household management, such as cooking, shopping (in cooperation with the family), cleaning and laundry care. There is also help around the house once a week. An important part of care is companionship, communication and maintaining a daily routine, as well as small daily tasks as needed. There is a small dog in the home which is confined to the garden and does not require walking. No night care or lifting is required.
