Time orientation is not preserved, the lady is locally oriented and only partially recognises people. She is prone to leaving the house, so it is necessary to lock the door and provide supervision. Suffers from urinary incontinence, uses nappies or pads. She has age-related diabetes which is untreated, she takes large amounts of food but is not gaining weight. Diet and good food preparation are therefore extremely important, and very good cooking skills are required. The lady moves independently, There is a reclining bed as well as a walker. She can usually stand up on her own, but assistance and belaying is needed. Lifting may be required depending on the situation. The lady needs to be guided and directed in personal hygiene, while trying to cooperate. The caregiver helps with incontinence aids, toileting, dressing and undressing, and also runs a complete household routine such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing and shopping (shops are accessible on foot). Reminders to take medication, daily walks, support in the routine of the day, companionship and activation are important. Night care is needed approximately once a night when accompanying to the toilet. There are two people living in the home.
