She no longer goes outdoors and does not use stairs. She needs help getting up or uses a chair. Mentally she is fine - she does not have dementia.. She speaks intelligibly but in dialect. She is not incontinent, but wears diapers as a precaution, which she changes herself. The lady needs help with dressing and personal hygiene (showering, washing her hair). She eats by herself and eats with her caregiver. Enough fluids should be ensured. She takes her own medication, which is prepared by the pharmacy. The doctor visits her at home. The caregiver also helps with cooking, shopping, cleaning and laundry. She has to arrange daily routines, small tasks, walks around the flat, simple conversations and companionship. The lady likes to watch television, listen to the radio, or lie in her chair. Night work is usually needed once a night, but this does not happen often. Lifting is not necessary. The lady is cautious at first, but if she sits down with the Caregiver, they get along well.
