Mentally she is fine, but she is unresponsive, has short concentration, sleeps a lot and takes only a small amount of food. He is calm and friendly. The lady is dependent on assistance for most tasks, but needs partial help with dressing, personal hygiene, toilet use and food intake. She uses incontinence devices which need to be changed. Hygiene is mainly done at the bedside. She needs to be encouraged to drink and be provided with a regular diet that is rather soft in consistency, such as soups, porridge or yoghurt. If she is awake, she likes to read the newspaper. Her care includes general care, administration of medication, assistance with daily tasks and housekeeping such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and keeping the bathroom clean. Shopping is not accessible on foot, there is a shop approximately 2 km from the home, the caregiver goes shopping with the help of a person she knows. A food allowance of approximately \u20ac60 per week is provided. No night work or lifting is required. The lady usually sleeps from about 20:30 in the evening until the morning and also rests a lot during the day. She has a reclining bed, an anti-disability mattress and an emergency button.
