There is a lift. He is not demented, mentally he is fully oriented. He is a little hard of hearing. He is incontinent , needs help with toileting (uses a urine bottle, also wears diapers if stool do transfer if possible). Gentleman has diabetes on insulin (under amb.nursing care), wears compression stockings. He maintains contact with family. The caregiver assists with personal hygiene (getting in and out of the shower, washing hair and showering,) and dressing, changes clothes regularly (within the limits of the gentleman's ability to co-operate), prepares meals, supervises medication and adequate fluid intake, does the shopping (by arrangement with the family or there is a good bus service), cleans, does laundry, runs daily errands, maintains daily routines, provides companionship, and conducts interviews. Night work is required no more than 1 time per night (help with toileting). There is an emergency button.
