Caring for an 84-year-old gentleman, 60 kg, 165 cm, who has right-sided hemiparesis and paralysis on the right side of his body. He is severely limited in movement and is at risk of tripping and falling. He moves with a walker or in a wheelchair. He needs support and restraint when getting up and walking. Mentally he is fully oriented and mentally fit. The gentleman needs partial assistance with dressing, morning hygiene and showering, including nail care. The carer is responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as shopping and cooking. The job also includes housekeeping, including cleaning and laundry. Assistance with walking, accompanying to the doctor and to physiotherapy is needed. Night care is not required. Lifting is required as part of light support, gentleman tries to cooperate. His wife also lives in the household and is currently partially absent due to hospitalization, but will still be at home for the first two weeks. Twice a week a domestic help comes for 4 hours. The seniors also speak English.
