She has limited motor skills and also suffers from high blood pressure. She manages to take her medication on her own for the time being. In the near future, she may need help with physical hygiene, dressing and general organisation of her day, as she needs support and supervision in routine tasks. The gentleman is 87 years old, 70 kg, 175 cm and moves independently. After a stroke he has a weakened speech centre, communication is more difficult and sometimes he is unable to link routine tasks, so he needs clear guidance and accompaniment. He requires assistance with hygiene and dressing, needs to be reminded to use the toilet and wears incontinence briefs as a precaution. He has diabetes and insulin treatment is not yet accurately adjusted. It is important to supervise the regular use of medication. Daily caregiver duties include household care such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, shopping (car available), companionship and conversation, assistance with daily tasks and errands, and companionship as needed. Night work is not required, only in exceptional circumstances. Lifting is not necessary.The caregiver has her own bathroom, a car with automatic transmission. |
