Care for an 86-year-old lady, 60 kg, 160 cm, living independently, who moves around the house with the help of a walker and has a wheelchair for longer distances. The lady is oriented in time, space and towards persons. Most of the time she lives in the residence, about 2 nights a week she spends at her daughter’s house. During these nights, the presence of a caregiver is required to assist as needed, especially with night waking and toileting. Communication is also via babyphone. A guest room is available for the caregiver; on other days she lives in a separate unit. She needs partial assistance with toileting. Company, communication and leisure activities such as games are important. The job also includes household chores in the daughter’s home such as cooking, shopping, cleaning and taking care of laundry. Night work is needed as the situation arises, not every night, especially to accompany her to the toilet, about twice a week, otherwise only housework and leisure activities when the lady is in residence. Lifting is not necessary. This is less demanding care, focusing on escorting to the toilet at night as needed , companionship and help around the home.
