Caring for an 87 year old gentleman 80 kg, 173 c with heart disease. The gentleman is mobile at home with a cane, outdoors he needs an escort. He has dementia/Alzheimer’s.Hygiene is provided by the wife if necessary. The caregiver takes care of cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry and housework. In the wife’s absence (she works as a teacher in the morning), she needs to accompany the gentleman, go for walks with him and calm him down if he is upset. Night-time getting up and lifting are not necessary, only minor help. There are two people living in the household, help with the housework is welcome.
