| Care for an 84-year-old elderly lady living independently, 45 kg, 145 cm, she has limited mobility and uses a walker, but moves very slowly. She suffers from Parkinson’s, senile weakness and osteoporosis. Six weeks ago her condition deteriorated. She has a shoulder prosthesis, which makes it difficult for her to wear clothes over her head. The lady takes her medication herself, the pills are prepared by her son. At the moment she uses insoles. She speaks Portuguese and understands some German. She needs help with walking, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene. She is independent when eating. She likes to go for walks with a walker if she feels comfortable. It is possible to go shopping and cooking with her. A carer who speaks Portuguese would be an advantage, as the lady comes from Portugal. The son lives nearby and often helps. The daily routine includes preparing meals together, housework (cleaning, laundry, cooking) and supervising routine activities. Night work is needed 1-2 times a night, especially after 4 pm, only accompaniment, no help with hygiene is needed. Lifting is not necessary. |
