Caring for an independent living 95 year old lady,77 kg, 165 cm, who suffers from general old age weakness after an infection ( from March 2026). The lady is mentally well, fully oriented in time, space and to persons and communicates without problems. She moves slowly with the help of a walker, needs support, cannot stand fully independently without restraint. Outside the house she moves only rarely and always accompanied. Assistance is needed when walking up stairs. She can get out of bed or out of a chair independently. He needs partial assistance with dressing and personal hygiene. Hygiene is assisted, and a bath hoist is available. She can manage toileting and eating independently, but needs to be supervised for regularity of meals and sufficient fluid intake. Incontinence is not present. Compression stockings are provided by the nursing service. The caregiver’s job also includes housekeeping such as cooking, shopping, cleaning and laundry care, as well as running errands and assisting in daily living. An important part of caring is companionship, communication and maintaining a daily routine. No night work or lifting is required.
