Caring for a 77-year-old elderly lady, 63 kg, 157 cm, who moves independently and suffers from dementia/Alzheimer’s disease, incontinence of both urine and stool and high blood pressure. As a result of dementia, she is confused, needs guidance in daily life and has a tendency to leave the house (1-2 times a week), aggressive behaviour does not occur. She sleeps a lot. The lady is mobile and can walk independently, she mainly needs guidance when dressing, partial help with personal hygiene and toilet use, including changing incontinence aids. Meals are taken independently. Care includes supervision, assistance with basic tasks, daily routines, companionship and communication. The job also includes domestic support such as shopping, cooking, cleaning and laundry care. There is also a husband living in the household who is still independent and drives, the Caregiver has to support him mainly with the running of the household. Shops are accessible on foot. Night work is needed as needed, not daily, mainly to change incontinence aids. Lifting is not necessary.
