He is hard of hearing. The gentleman needs partial assistance with dressing, hygiene and toileting. Part of the caregiver’s job is to manage the household, especially cooking, cleaning and laundry. Shopping is done by the daughter. It is important to prepare meals and supervise the running of the household. The gentleman likes to go for short walks with his walker, for example on the terrace. He should be encouraged to move around. The aim is mainly to relieve the daughter, who has been looking after him up to now. His wife, who does not need any help, has only mild dementia and still cooks for herself, also lives in the household. The family lives nearby. Night work is not needed, the senior sleeps all night until about 6:30. Lifting is not necessary. |
