Caring for a 90-year-old lady, 45 kg, 163 cm, who lives independently. The lady suffers from heart failure which is stabilized by medication and general old age weakness. She is reasonably fit for her age, but already needs help and guidance with simpler activities. Occasionally confusion appears. Partial assistance is needed with dressing and personal hygiene, with a care service coming in the morning to provide washing and dressing. Meals are accepted, but care is needed to ensure regularity of meals and adequate fluid intake. Care includes supervision of medication, assistance with daily living and housekeeping. Job duties include meal preparation, shopping, cleaning, laundry care and general household help. Companionship, communication and maintaining a daily routine are important. Night work is not required, only exceptionally depending on the current situation. Lifting is not necessary.
