| Caring for a 79-year-old lady, 163 cm,48 kg with limited mobility (poor posture).The lady has Parkinson’s disease, a moderate form of dementia and senile weakness, but mentally she is mostly fine (disoriented only when agitated). She uses a walker,speaks more quietly.She is incontinent. She recently suffered a fall and broke her spine. She goes to a day centre (Wednesdays and Fridays). The caregiver should prevent the onset of a fall,assists with personal hygiene, dressing, takes care of diaper changes, runs the household, cleans, does laundry, prepares meals, does shopping (within walking distance), provides companionship, and goes for walks. Night work is required no more than 1 time per night (escorting to the toilet). Lifting is not necessary. An 83-year-old husband also lives in the home but does not need care. Both seniors go to bed late, the Caregiver does not have to wait, it is enough if she makes the bed. |
