| Caring for a physically and mentally disabled 42-year-old female client,165 cm,70 kg , who has been disabled since birth. The lady is spastic, has limited mobility of the left shoulder, uses an electric wheelchair to move, standing is not possible. She is not incontinent,uses diapers only for safety at night. No night work required.
The client needs to be transferred to a wheelchair with a lifting device, needs full assistance with dressing, toileting, hygiene, evening bathing or showering, and partial assistance with eating. Meal preparation, shopping, cleaning, laundry required. The client attends the day-care centre from Monday to Friday from 08:00-16:00.Accompaniment to doctors and medical therapies is required by agreement with the family and according to a weekly schedule. Shared meals, sufficient drinking, correct dosage of medication, spending time together. Night waking is not required. The client’s parents live in the same house, in a separate apartment. In the house there is a ceiling lift, swimming pool . The caregiver has a small apartment right in the house with her own bathroom. |
