Caring for an 88-year-old, 70 kg, 162 cm, independent living gentleman with incipient dementia. He is oriented in space, slightly confused at times and generally shows progressive forgetfulness. Mentally, he is still relatively well, communication is possible, even at a higher level if necessary. He is physically very well preserved and moves completely independently without aids. He enjoys going for walks, which should be accompanied. He can do all basic tasks such as dressing, personal hygiene, eating and toileting independently. The main job is to supervise, keep him company and support him in everyday life. The caregiver provides household management such as cooking, shopping (with transport), cleaning and laundry care. It also includes organising and accompanying them to medical appointments. Maintaining a daily routine, communicating and activating the gentleman to remain independent for as long as possible is important. No night care or lifting is not necessary. There is a car available for the caregiver. The entire attic of the house with its own bathroom is available for the caregiver.
