Caring for an independent living 91-year-old lady, 44 kg, 156 cm, who suffers from general old age weakness, osteoporosis and arthrosis of the hands and feet. Her eyesight is severely impaired (she can hardly see) and she also suffers from numbness in her hands and left leg. There are also signs of dementia, the lady tends to be moody and can be unpleasant or even aggressive, so mental resilience and a skilled approach are important. She moves with the aid of a walker and needs to be accompanied and belayed when walking. Light assistance (e.g. a handshake) is sufficient for transfers; lifting is not physically demanding. She is partially dependent on assistance for most tasks such as dressing, personal hygiene, toileting and eating. She can still manage some activities on her own, but needs support and supervision, especially due to her visual limitation. The job of a caregiver also includes household management such as preparing meals (especially breakfast), cooking, shopping (with the possibility of using a car), cleaning and taking care of laundry. Preparing medication and general support in daily life is also important. There is also an emergency button. The main aim is to provide presence, supervision and a functioning household as the lady can still manage many things but needs reassurance and help. Night work is not required. There is a car with a manual transmission.
