Caring for an 87 year old lady, 70 kg, 150 cm, who suffers from mild dementia, osteoporosis, glaucoma and arthrosis in her hands. She is mobile independently or with the help of a walker, orientation in space and between people is preserved, but she is forgetful and sometimes slightly confused. She is not aggressive. The lady is self-sufficient in walking, dressing, eating and using the toilet. She needs partial assistance with personal hygiene, especially with bathing, where assistance with the bath hoist is needed, but she can manage washing independently. Regular reminders to take medication are important. The carer’s role also includes household management such as cooking, shopping, cleaning and laundry, as well as daily companionship and support with routines. The family is keen that the lady is not alone, has company and is active. She really enjoys being in the garden, so it is appreciated if the carer has a relationship with gardening. Shared activities such as watching television or playing cards are desirable. The home is heated with coal, so help with fetching coal is also needed. A walker and bath hoist are available. No night care or lifting is required. There is a cat in the house and a car with automatic transmission available.
