Caring for an 80-year-old lady, 50 kg, 153 cm, who suffers from moderate dementia, has anxiety, restlessness at night and occasional shortness of breath. She is not aggressive and her physical condition is otherwise good. She moves with mild limitations and is mobile with support. She manages toileting and personal hygiene independently. She needs partial assistance with dressing and undressing. The main focus of her care is supervision and presence of a Caregiver, keeping her company and conversations so she is not alone. The job includes routine household chores such as meal preparation, shopping, cleaning and laundry, but housekeeping and cooking are primarily done by the husband. Night work is not necessary; the husband is home at night and takes care of her. Lifting is not necessary. The stay-at-home husband is still working as a teacher until 3:00 pm at a vocational school,he drives a car and there is bus service available locally. No care is needed for the husband.The housewife comes to the home 2 times a week for 4 hours. The caregiver is fluent in Spanish , private bathroom available.
