Care for an 85-year-old gentleman, 70 kg, 175 cm, who is recovering from a stroke and is currently mostly bedridden. He moves with the help of a wheelchair and cannot stand up independently due to lack of strength. His left arm has limited mobility; he can lift it slightly. He can move his legs slightly. His speech is weakened, and he is undergoing speech therapy. Physiotherapy is provided at home; the physiotherapist visits directly. The gentleman is completely dependent on help with dressing, personal hygiene, and toileting. Complete care is required, including diaper changes, hygiene, and daily nursing care. Deep bedsores are present, requiring consistent skin care and repositioning. Transferring from bed to wheelchair is done using a patient lift, which is available along with an adjustable bed and wheelchair. This is a full transfer with assistance; the gentleman tries to cooperate as much as possible. Part of the care includes transferring him by wheelchair for short walks. Night care is not required. His wife manages the household; the caregiver focuses exclusively on the gentleman's care.
