He is mostly bedridden, uses a wheelchair, and a lifter is available for transfers. He is incontinent of urine and feces and uses diapers. He requires extensive help with personal hygiene, changing, dressing, and transfers. No nighttime waking is required for either senior. Household management, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping. A car with an automatic transmission is available. The caregiver has her own room and a separate bathroom with a shower, bidet, and toilet.
