Care for a self-sufficient 75-year-old elderly lady, 70 kg, 168 cm, with a diagnosis of moderate Alzheimer's dementia. Her short-term memory is impaired, but she is still oriented locally and recognizes people around her. She suffers from osteoarthritis in one knee. She moves independently; lifting or night care is not required, and she sleeps well throughout the night. The main goal of care is to maintain her independence through guidance and reminders. The lady requires accompaniment when going out and during doctor's visits. For dressing and personal hygiene, she primarily needs supervision, guidance, and verbal direction. The caregiver's duties also include household help such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry care. Companionship, support in her daily routine, and active time spent together are important, as the lady enjoys playing board games and solving puzzles. Physiotherapy and occupational therapy are provided through home visits by specialized staff.
