Caregiver Cologne

Care for a self-sufficient 70-year-old elderly lady, 60 kg, 165 cm, who is fully dependent on a wheelchair. The lady suffers from multiple sclerosis and is completely paralyzed. She is mentally sound and cooperative. She requires full transfers from bed to wheelchair and back, for which a sliding sheet is used; a hoist is not necessary. The lady must be repositioned in bed and on the wheelchair using pillows. She has a suprapubic (abdominal) catheter and wears diapers, which need to be changed as required. She is completely dependent on assistance for all hygiene tasks, dressing, undressing, eating, and drinking, which need to be administered to her. Morning basic hygiene is provided by the nursing service; the remaining care is the responsibility of the caregiver. A physiotherapist visits 3-4 times a week. Medications are prepared; the caregiver ensures their administration. The job also includes complete household management, including shopping, cooking, laundry, ironing, cleaning, vacuuming, and garden care. In case of suitable weather and upon agreement, short wheelchair walks are possible. Night duty is not required, only exceptionally if needed. The care is long-term and emphasizes professionalism, continuity, and a dignified approach.
