Care for a self-sufficient 100-year-old lady, 80 kg, 153 cm, who is slightly mobility-impaired. She suffers from heart failure, untreated diabetes, macular degeneration with approximately 2% vision, mild hearing loss, and ankle arthritis. She is mentally very fit, only occasionally forgets things. The lady is incontinent, uses pads and diapers at night, but goes to the toilet independently. She needs help with personal hygiene, showering or washing, applying cream, dressing, and in the evening with brief intimate hygiene. It is necessary to supervise medication intake. The day is organized quite precisely. Around 10:00 AM, shopping or household chores are managed. At 11:00 AM, there are shared breakfast, conversations, or crossword puzzles. In the afternoon, meals are prepared, and from 2:00 PM, the caregiver has a break. In the evening around 6:00 PM, the lady enjoys listening to reading, talking, or solving riddles. This is followed by a warm dinner, television, and company. Around 9:30 PM, she needs help getting into bed, a brief hygiene routine, putting on a diaper, and assistance with her teeth. Household management and approximately once a week laundry are also part of the job. Night work or heavy lifting are not required. Free time by agreement.
