Care for an independently living 80-year-old lady, 50 kg, 158 cm, who has previously suffered two strokes. As a result, she has paralysis on the left side of her body and moves exclusively in a wheelchair. Despite her physical limitations, she is fully mentally oriented, communication is intact, and she does not suffer from dementia. General old-age weakness is present. The lady needs help with daily activities, especially in the morning with getting out of bed and transferring to the wheelchair. During transfers, she can cooperate and offer her hand; it is not a completely passive transfer. Assistance is needed with dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, and overall bodily care. For hygiene, the lady is entirely dependent on the caregiver's help, including washing, hair care, and daily basic hygiene. When using the toilet, she requires partial assistance and support as needed. The scope of work also includes household management, such as meal preparation, shopping, cleaning the home, and laundry care. Shops are within walking distance from her residence. An important part of the care is companionship, conversation, and spending time together. The lady enjoys walks in her wheelchair around her neighborhood, which offers plenty of greenery and a pleasant environment for spending time outdoors. Night duty is not required. An adjustable bed is available. Free time by agreement.
