Care for an independently living 83-year-old gentleman, 76 kg, 185 cm, who is still very independent and physically quite fit. He suffers from polyneuropathy, but otherwise manages all common daily activities without assistance. He dresses, performs hygiene, uses the toilet, and eats independently. He is fully oriented in time, space, and to persons. The gentleman is an active person, enjoys meeting friends, plays tennis, and remains involved in social life. He currently still drives a car, although the family no longer strongly recommends it. The primary role of the caregiver is companionship, support in daily life, and accompanying him on activities outside the home. Part of the job also includes help with household chores such as cooking, shopping, cleaning, and laundry. It is important that the caregiver is willing to go out with the gentleman and spend time with him during shared activities. The gentleman is a very kind, friendly, and open person. He wishes for a Polish caregiver. Night work or lifting is not required. Free time by arrangement. A caregiver from Poland is welcome.
