Care for an elderly couple in their shared household. An 83-year-old gentleman, 55 kg, 165 cm, has dementia and no longer has short-term memory. He still recognizes people and is oriented in familiar surroundings. He has urinary and fecal incontinence and uses diapers, which need to be changed 1-2 times a day. The gentleman uses a wheelchair. Based on his current condition, he can walk a few steps, and approximately 20 meters with assistance. He requires moderate assistance with transfers and is cooperative. He needs complete assistance with dressing and personal hygiene, and partial assistance with toileting. A commode and a bath lift are available. He eats independently. Supervision of medication intake is required when the care service is not present. An 80-year-old lady, 55 kg, 162 cm, has advanced dementia. She is mobile and goes to the toilet independently. She has mild incontinence and uses pads. Due to her dementia, she requires guidance and reminders throughout the day for dressing, hygiene, meals, toileting, and daily activities. She can no longer manage the household or cooking on her own. The caregiver is also responsible for cooking, cleaning, laundry, and the general running of the household. Shopping is primarily managed by the son, who lives in the immediate vicinity. Night duty is not required. A guest toilet is available for the caregiver. Free time by agreement.
