Care for a independently living 62-year-old elderly lady, 80 kg, 165 cm, who is largely bedridden after a severe relapse of multiple sclerosis six weeks ago. She moves with the aid of a wheelchair. In the 1990s, three brain tumors were successfully removed. She is fully oriented and mentally clear. She is completely dependent on assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, using the toilet, and all transfers. Transfers from bed to wheelchair, to the toilet, and back are necessary approximately every 2.5 hours, 1 to 2 times during the night. She cooperates during transfers and can stand briefly. A hoist and a ceiling hoist are available in the bedroom. The caregiver assists with hygiene, dressing, hair care, prepares the toothbrush, cooks, shops, cleans, and takes care of laundry. A care service comes every morning for basic hygiene. Once a week, assistance is provided for cleaning. Night care is needed 1 to 2 times per night, mainly for transfers to the toilet. Aldi is within walking distance, and a bicycle is available in the household. Free time by arrangement. There is a dog in the household (Yorkshire Terrier).
