Care for a 70-year-old gentleman, 85 kg, 170 cm, who has multiple myeloma, cerebrospinal fluid changes, and anemia. He also suffers from dizziness. After a fall, he has a broken arm. He is very weak after a long hospital stay. He uses a walker or wheelchair for walking and needs to gradually regain mobility and adapt to daily life at home. Partial assistance is needed with hygiene, dressing, toileting, and eating. He needs support when walking, and everyday items should be handed to him as needed. In the evening, around 7:00 PM, he sometimes becomes confused and may speak nonsensically. During the day, he is usually fine. The main role of the caregiver is to help the gentleman and relieve his wife. Household chores and cooking are not the primary focus of the job, as these are handled by other individuals. However, assistance can be arranged as needed. The gentleman enjoys watching television. Nighttime assistance may be required depending on his current condition. Lifting is not necessary. A hospital bed and a stairlift are available, as is an automatic transmission car. Free time is to be arranged by agreement.
