Care for a 100-year-old lady living alone, 80 kg, 153 cm, who has limited mobility. She suffers from heart failure, untreated diabetes, macular degeneration with approximately 2% vision, mild hearing loss, and ankle arthritis. She is mentally very fit, only occasionally forgets things. The lady is incontinent, uses pads and diapers at night, but goes to the toilet independently. She needs help with personal hygiene, showering or washing, applying cream, dressing, and brief intimate hygiene in the evening. Medication supervision is required. The day is quite precisely organized. Around 10:00 AM, shopping or housework is handled. At 11:00 AM, there are shared breakfast, conversations, or crossword puzzles. In the afternoon, meals are prepared, and from 2:00 PM, the caregiver has a break. In the evening around 6:00 PM, the lady enjoys listening to reading, talking, or solving riddles. This is followed by a warm dinner, television, and companionship. Around 9:30 PM, she needs help getting to bed, brief hygiene, putting on a diaper, and help with her teeth. Household management and approximately once-a-week laundry are also part of the job. Night work or heavy lifting is not required. Free time by agreement.
