Care for a 95-year-old, independently living elderly lady, 160 cm and 60 kg, with senile weakness. She has dementia, osteoporosis, and impaired vision. She moves with the help of a walker, and there is a risk of falling. Due to dementia, she is sometimes confused, which manifests as taciturnity or an inability to express herself. She wears preventive pads. The caregiver assists with personal hygiene, dressing, partly with feeding, with getting up, accompanies her to the toilet, prepares meals, takes care of laundry, cleans (a cleaning service is also available), does shopping (15 min walk) – her daughter can also help, and takes care of the household. It is necessary to be always nearby so that the lady does not fall, or to accompany her when walking. Night work is generally not required, but it depends on the lady's condition; sometimes she becomes restless at night.
