Caregiver Hahnheim

Care for an 83-year-old gentleman living alone, with senile weakness and mobility limitations. The client suffers from general old-age weakness and reduced mobility. He was recently hospitalized for heart and kidney problems. He moves around the house using a wheelchair. He can transfer himself to and from bed independently. Walking on stairs is not possible. He goes to the toilet independently. He needs help and supervision with personal hygiene and partially with dressing. Nighttime rising is not necessary and lifting the client is not required. The client actively performs exercises to maintain mobility. Support is needed in managing the household – cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing, home maintenance, and general daily activities, including watering garden flowers. Shopping is arranged in the nearby village, which has a small shop and a bakery. Larger shopping (Netto, Rewe, etc.) is about 5 km away. An electric bicycle is available. Care also includes companionship for the client, conversations, and support for psychological well-being. The client lives in a family house; the caregiver has her own room with a garden view and her own bathroom. Night work is not required.
