Caregiver Heidelberg

Care for an independently living 63-year-old lady, 65 kg, 165 cm, who has an intellectual disability and mild autistic traits. She has difficulty with logical thinking and assessing certain situations correctly. She is also less sensitive to heat and cold. Under stress or agitation, she speaks very quickly and sometimes unintelligibly. She wears orthopedic shoes. The lady is friendly and independent in many things. However, she requires regular guidance, reminders, and supervision. A firm daily routine is very important. She finds changes and new situations more challenging. She needs partial assistance with personal hygiene; she manages other daily activities independently. From Monday to Friday, she goes to work independently in a sheltered workshop. In the evenings, she cooks and dines with the caregiver. Afterward, they spend time together, for example, watching television. The caregiver helps prepare her for bed. Work ends around 10:00 PM. The caregiver also cooks, shops, cleans, and does laundry. On Saturdays, they do housework together. Shops are within walking distance. On weekends, the lady enjoys swimming and going for walks. For swimming, accompaniment is sufficient; the caregiver does not need to enter the water. Night shifts and heavy lifting are not required. Separate accommodation is available for the caregiver. Free time by agreement. There is a dog in the apartment.
