Care for a 78-year-old gentleman, 83 kg, 175 cm, who moves around the house with the aid of a cane and outside the home with a walker and accompanied. He suffers from dementia/Alzheimer's, Parkinson's syndrome, and polyneuropathy. Due to his conditions, his gait is unsteady and slow. His short-term memory is significantly impaired, and he cannot organize appointments. Partial assistance is required with dressing, personal hygiene, and toileting, though he tries to cooperate. He eats independently, but it is necessary to monitor regular meals and adequate fluid intake. The gentleman is not incontinent; he wears protective aids preventively as he sometimes cannot reach the toilet in time. He is independent at the toilet during the day, but assistance is needed at night, including changing aids. Hygiene support is required for daily care, showering, hair washing, and shaving, as well as for entering and exiting the shower. The care includes supervising medication intake (which is prepared), accompanying him to the doctor as agreed with the family, running everyday errands, assisting with daily life, and maintaining a daily routine. The scope of work also includes household management such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping; shops are within walking distance. His wife also lives in the household, for whom the household must be managed and who needs relief in caring for her husband. Night duty is required approximately 1-2 times per night, mainly for assistance with toileting.
