Care for an 83-year-old gentleman, 70 kg, 177 cm, who suffers from Parkinson's disease (primarily manifesting as hand tremors), advanced dementia, and incontinence. The dementia is significantly advanced; the gentleman is very forgetful and disoriented in time and space, but still recognizes people. New medication is currently being adjusted. When he realizes his limitations, he tends to become frustrated, thus requiring a calm, patient, and sensitive approach. Despite his illness, he is in very good physical condition, enjoys movement, and used to play tennis in the past. The gentleman primarily needs supervision, guidance, and direction with daily activities. He does not require physical assistance with personal hygiene and dressing, but needs motivation and reminders to wash, change into clean clothes, and perform routine tasks. He requires partial assistance when using the toilet. Due to dementia, he can become apathetic and lack initiative, tending to sleep a lot during the day, so it is necessary to establish a daily routine and motivate him to engage in activities to improve his nighttime sleep. The scope of work includes meal preparation, shopping, cleaning, laundry, household management, providing companionship, supervision, and support in organizing the day. An important part is also assisting the senior's daughter and supporting the household's operation. Night duty is not required. Lifting is not necessary. Free time is by agreement.
