She has limited mobility and an increased risk of falls. She moves around the house with a walking stick. She requires assistance with daily activities and may temporarily need help with personal hygiene and dressing. She takes her medication independently. She can be moody at times. An 87-year-old gentleman, 70 kg, 175 cm, has had a stroke, resulting in significant speech and communication difficulties. He is unable to perform certain tasks correctly step-by-step, thus requiring guidance and supervision. He moves independently. He needs help with personal hygiene and dressing. He needs reminders for using the toilet. He proactively uses incontinence briefs. He has diabetes; the method of insulin administration is not yet clear. Preparation of medication and diligent supervision of its intake are important. The caregiver is also responsible for cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, companionship, and general daily assistance. The role also includes arranging transportation and handling necessary errands. A car is available. Regular night duty is not required, but assistance may be needed in emergencies. Lifting is not necessary. A driver's license is required. A private bathroom is available for the caregiver. Free time is by arrangement.
