Carer Odenthal

Care for an 87-year-old independently living gentleman (71 kg, 174 cm) in a family house in the village of Odenthal. The client suffers from vascular dementia after a stroke, has weakened short-term memory, occasional unsteady gait, mild incontinence, and a risk of falls. He moves independently with a walker or a walking stick, eats and uses the toilet by himself. Assistance is mainly needed with personal hygiene, guidance with dressing, and supervision for regular medication intake three times a day. The scope of work includes household management, meal preparation, shopping, laundry, light gardening, and spending time with the client through walks, conversations, or board games. Occasional nighttime assistance may be required depending on the client's current health status. The carer has a private room with internet access.
