Caregiver Spardorf

Care for a self-sufficient 81-year-old gentleman, 80 kg, 178 cm, with dementia, general old-age frailty, and urinary incontinence. The dementia has a fluctuating course. The gentleman is good to talk to, but often repeats himself. Orientation is partially preserved depending on his current condition. He needs supervision for his safety. The gentleman is physically very weak and moves slowly, but can still walk independently. Lifting is not necessary. He requires partial assistance with dressing and toileting. He needs guidance with personal hygiene. He is urinary incontinent. He eats independently. The caregiver is also responsible for cooking, cleaning, laundry, general household management, and supervision of the senior. The family handles grocery shopping. Regular night duty is not required; any assistance needed depends on his current condition. A private bathroom may be available for the caregiver. Free time is by arrangement.
