Care for an 81-year-old gentleman, 83 kg, 180 cm, with Parkinson's disease, moderate dementia/Alzheimer's, and general frailty. The gentleman is apathetic, absent-minded, and communication is limited. He has significant mobility limitations and is bedridden. He uses a wheelchair. He cannot stand up on his own, but according to his current condition, he can cooperate partially during transfers or stand briefly with assistance. He needs help with personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care. Medications need to be reminded and their intake supervised, as well as regular meals and sufficient fluid intake. It is important to incorporate movement, appropriate activation, and companionship into the daily routine. The gentleman greatly enjoys nature, observing animals and birds, music, and playing the keyboard. Wheelchair walks are also suitable. The caregiver is also responsible for cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, and general household management. Shopping is not accessible on foot; a car is available and car rides are necessary. Household chores are performed in agreement with his wife, who has been caring for him herself until now, but is currently very mentally exhausted and needs significant relief. She continues to manage her part of the household independently. Regular night shifts are not required. Exceptionally, they may be needed depending on the gentleman's current condition or during illness. A car with an automatic transmission is available. Free time by agreement.
