Caregiver Mengen

Care for an elderly married couple in a shared household. A 70-year-old elderly lady, 59 kg, 168 cm, has dementia and glaucoma. She is fully mobile and manages personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and toileting independently. Sometimes she overestimates her abilities and thinks she can handle activities she can no longer manage on her own. She occasionally looks for or cannot find items and sometimes repeats herself in conversations. However, communication is quite possible. It is suitable to involve the lady in the regular daily routine. A 79-year-old elderly gentleman, 66 kg, 165 cm, moves with a walker and is awaiting surgery on his cervical spine. He has impaired fine motor skills, for example, problems with writing and buttoning. He walks with difficulty and needs support while walking. He requires partial assistance with personal hygiene and dressing. He manages toileting and eating independently. A shower chair is available. Lifting is not necessary. The caregiver is also responsible for cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, and general household management. The couple occasionally enjoys going out for coffee and cake; they spend most of their time at home watching television. Night shifts are not required. A car is available, and the caregiver has a private bathroom. Free time by agreement.
