Caregiver Nürnberg

Care for a 94-year-old gentleman, 65 kg, 170 cm, with significant dementia and general frailty. He knows who he is, recognizes his wife, and knows where he lives. He recognizes people, but his orientation in time and space is only partially preserved. The gentleman uses a wheelchair to move around the house. He requires full assistance with transfers, and his ability to cooperate depends on his current condition. The caregiver helps him with morning and evening hygiene, getting up, going to bed, and other necessary care. A physiotherapist visits for 40 minutes three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). The care also includes activities for dementia, simple exercises, games, and wheelchair walks. The caregiver prepares breakfast and a warm dinner, cleans up after meals, and handles ongoing grocery shopping. A cleaning lady visits once a week. The care follows a strict daily routine: from Monday to Saturday, approximately from 11:45 AM to 3:45 PM and from 6:45 PM to 8:45 PM, followed by assistance with evening hygiene and going to bed from 10:30 PM to 11:00 PM. From 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM, the caregiver is on call via baby monitor. Assistance with urination may be needed during this time. From 9:00 AM, his wife takes over the morning on-call duty. Sundays are free. The wife does not require caregiving. Dinner is prepared for three people approximately 5 times a week, and a corresponding amount of groceries needs to be purchased as agreed. The warm dinner can also be pre-prepared or ordered food. A private bathroom is available for the caregiver. Free time is as agreed.
