Caregiver Bonn-Stadtrand

Care for an independently living 89-year-old lady, 68 kg, 170 cm, who suffers from early-stage dementia, mainly manifesting as impaired short-term memory. During the day, however, she is well-oriented, physically very fit, and moves completely independently without any aids. She is communicative, enjoys talking and singing. The lady is self-sufficient with dressing, personal hygiene, eating, and using the toilet. She does not suffer from incontinence and does not require assistance with basic personal care tasks. Her son provides her medication. The primary responsibilities include providing companionship, supervision, and support in daily life. The caregiver prepares meals, handles regular shopping, cleaning, and laundry. The son handles major grocery shopping. The lady still tries to do housework herself, so only light support and assistance as needed are required. An important part of the care includes joint walks, conversations, and spending time together. She eats exclusively vegetarian or vegan and cannot tolerate the smell of meat, so meal preparation needs to be adapted accordingly. Night work or heavy lifting is not required. Free time as agreed.
