Care for an independent 64-year-old lady, 95 kg, 180 cm, who uses a wheelchair. She suffers from osteoarthritis, joint wear and tear, rheumatism in her hands, and urinary incontinence. She uses incontinence pads. She has an increased risk of falls. She needs help with personal hygiene, dressing, getting up, going to bed, and transfers. Assistance is needed with using the toilet or a commode and regular changing of incontinence products. She needs reminders to take her medication. The caregiver prepares fresh meals, shops, cleans, does laundry, irons, and manages the household. Shops are about a 5-minute walk away. Cleaning the cat's litter box is also part of the duties. Companionship and assistance with daily activities are important. The caregiver eats with the lady, plays board games with her, watches television, takes her for walks, and accompanies her to the doctor or for other errands. The lady needs to be taken out in her wheelchair for fresh air regularly. Night duty is not required. Moderate assistance is needed for transfers. A profiling bed, shower chair, and commode are available. She does not have close family. A driver's license is necessary; a manual transmission car is available. There is a cat in the household. Free time is by agreement.
