Gosbach Caregiver

Care for a 79-year-old elderly lady with Parkinson's disease, who has had a fall and has an increased risk of further falls. She suffers from urinary incontinence and uses incontinence aids, which she partially changes herself and partially needs assistance with. Her eyesight is impaired. The lady moves independently and has a walker and a shower chair available. She is independent when getting up and transferring, but may require light physical assistance as needed. Nursing services visit from Monday to Friday mornings between approximately 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM and provide hygiene and dressing. The caregiver assists with further personal hygiene, dressing, incontinence care, and reminds about medication. Nighttime assistance is not strictly defined; an electronic baby monitor is available for calling the caregiver. The caregiver also handles cooking, shopping, cleaning, assistance with laundry and ironing, and provides companionship. The lady enjoys walks, nature, television, handicrafts, and cooking. Her husband lives at home, but will be leaving for a three-week rehabilitation from November 16th. Family can visit daily or every other day. Free time as agreed.
