Caregiver Ulm

Care for a 67-year-old elderly lady, 50 kg, 160 cm, who has moderate dementia and depression. The lady is a widow and has issues with temporal orientation, not knowing the exact date or time, and needs guidance in adhering to her daily routine. She also has partially impaired long-term memory. The lady is mobile, walks, gets up, showers, dresses, and uses the toilet independently. She does not require lifting or physical assistance with transfers. Occasionally, she needs advice on choosing appropriate clothing based on the weather. The primary role of the caregiver is companionship, guidance, and accompanying her in daily activities. It is necessary to remind her about taking medication, supervise her fluid intake, and accompany her to doctor's appointments. Household help is provided 3 times a week for two hours. Night work is not required. The lady is sociable, communicative, and very active. She enjoys art, music, salsa, gardening, table tennis, swimming, and walks. Every day she has an activity planned, such as sports, occupational therapy, or Italian class, and once a week she attends salsa in the evening. The caregiver should accompany her to these activities and participate if possible. The caregiver is responsible for cooking and shopping. Cleaning is done by a housekeeper five days a week. The lady currently lives with her partner; after moving, she will live alone. A private bathroom and an automatic transmission car are available for the caregiver. A driver's license is mandatory. Free time by agreement.
