She has an increased risk of falls. She navigates well within the home environment but has impaired orientation outside the home and regarding time. Her short-term memory is deteriorating, and she can be confused at times. She has hearing difficulties. She moves around the house with a walker; for longer distances, she uses a wheelchair. She needs assistance when standing up. She uses diapers preventatively at night. She requires partial assistance with dressing, personal hygiene, showering, and using the toilet. She eats independently; it is necessary to monitor fluid intake and regular medication intake. Her general practitioner visits her at home every two weeks. She enjoys spending time in the garden, listening to music, playing board games, and going out for ice cream. The caregiver's duties also include household management, meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, shopping (as agreed with the family), companionship, and maintaining the daily routine. Shops are about a 5-minute walk away, and public transport is also nearby. The family lives in a separate apartment in the same building and helps regularly. Both visit a day care center once a week. A care service visits once a week to assist with personal hygiene and prepare medications. Night duty is only required for the lady 3-4 times per night. Free time is by agreement.
