Caregiver Cologne

Care for an independent 77-year-old lady, 62 kg, 161 cm, with dementia. She has significantly impaired short-term memory, is sometimes disoriented, and has a disturbed perception of time. She is often restless and unable to plan her day or maintain a daily routine on her own. Physically, she is mobile and moves independently around the house. She cannot manage long distances on foot. She requires accompaniment for walks. She has COPD, high blood pressure, and two knee prostheses. She primarily needs guidance and reminders for dressing, hygiene, toileting, and eating. The caregiver checks medication intake in the morning, prepares breakfast with the lady, and shops with her as needed. She cooks lunch and ensures adequate fluid intake. A shared daily routine, walks, household activities, and companionship are important. The caregiver also manages cooking, shopping, laundry, and the general running of the household. Home care services prepare medications into a dispenser once a week and arrange for cleaning once a week. Night work is not required, although the senior may wake up at night. Lifting is not necessary. Free time by arrangement.
